the girls had zoo camp on the big day! we had the chance to see a total eclipse! it was truly a once in a life time opportunity and was fantastic to see. we decided to drive out to the country where it was better viewing. since the girls had zoo camp in that area i decided to spend the afternoon at the zoo with them.
we visited all the animals
and spent 2 hours at the park. then it was time to meet chris and nate

it was around 4 pm when it happened. very cool to hear the song birds come out and the hear the peepers!
and it was over
it was worth all the hype!
