splash pad

 i took the kids to the splash pad last thurs, the last day we would have the pad before school got out. so fun. they really enjoyed it

pool pad

 we spent sat working on the pool pad. even thoug we are not putting the big pool up this yr, we decided to put up the pad to hold it, and put the small pool on top....so its done for next yr.....sat we carried boat loads of gravel to the pad. it was SO hot out...

 after joey woke up from her nap i took the kids to our mini splash pad. they loved it

rib fest!

 chris and i took the kids to rib fest on Sunday. it was SO hot!  i was impressed with the festival, the rib booths were freaking huge.  the music was actually good and there was so much for the kids to do

 we did ice cream and joey went nuts in the bouncy castles, with the big kids. joey was NO concept of danger. she dives into everything!

 we had nate go order his own ribs, by himself. i was really impressed with him

 then we ate. i dont normally like meat but these ribs were AMAZING.  chris's ribs were the best but nate's had more meat on them....1/3 rack of ribs was 10!  crazy!

pizza!

 we put joey in the pool today for the first time this yr. this child has no clue to boundaries and danger. she LOVES life and hugs the life out of it. tippy toes!

 thank you daddy! i love you!

 i can touch my toes! i dont need any help!

 and for fun we put her on the tube and throw her around the pool!

fort beaus!

 i took the kids to fort beausjour today, it was an organized day trip with the local home school groups. we had SO much fun. the cost was 2.90! haha  the kids had SOO much fun running around and playing. i spent most of my time chasing after joey, and spending time with my pal a. 
it was SO cold, and i didnt pack jackets but we were able to borrow 3 jackets for us all to wear! 

 we split the kids up into 2 groups, nate and his friend micah went into the older kids group, and i went with the girls and aralee and her son judah

 i was impressed with how well the group of kids sat and listened!

 they did really well

 ellie stayed with us during the talks, but when we hit the hill she ditched us to run around with the older unsocial home school kids

 and got into everything

 then climbed a wall

 that was used to hold guns and shoot out of them

 all the way to the end

 where she got comfortable and talked to everyone who walked by her window
