it was a big day last wed! Everyone BUT me got a new do! I cut nate's hair into a new style but he didnt want any pics taken and i forgot to take chris's pic. but i did get the girls! both girls got a lot cut off!
joey lost a good 5" and got BANGS!

i started in the school room. cleaning it out for the move....can you see what i see? joey's in the book shelf! haha now that the storage closets are empty the girls like to play in them! they are so creative with their play. the shelfs have been a jail, a house, a dog store, a library and a "homeless ppl house"
i took a break to enjoy our first real snow fall. we have had 2 storms so far. but this doesnt change our life style much. with all of us working from home we still get things done. moncton is in red, so the schools are back to on line and most places are closed. i feel so bad for the working parents! trying to arrange child care and home learning on top on everything! i choose this crazy! they don't! ha
but i do have to say. "learning at home" is NOT home schooling! two completely different things!

sunday i took the kids to the cabin for the night. that was the plan but after talking with nate he wanted to stay longer. so we went home and packed more food and school books and stayed until wed. i love that we have the flexibility to do that. nate enjoys the quiet of the cabin. and i love having him around...we cooked supper together tues night. it was his idea, and we had a blast! we had little to work with but it turned out good! and we decided that we should cook together weekly!
meeka loves the cabin! she likes her walks in the woods. i found a groomed trail for us to take. too bad its ALL up hill at the start! but a GREAT way to tire out the dog! ellie came with me on monday

i call her my mtn goat. she sits on the snow pile in front of the window and watches us. she doesnt want to come in! she just makes sure we are ok and enjoys the snow

she is on wk 2 of her heat. its not fun to wipe up after but im still glad i chose to do this. if i can get another yr or 2 out of her that would be great. i cant get over how much i love this dog. she follows me around the house. i almost feel bad for being upstairs! she sits at the bottom of the stairs and waits for me to come back

we had a good week, getting school done, working at the cabin, packing up the house a bit at a time...it's been cold and gross out but Jan is flying by!
