sat!

 the kids and i joined chris at the land on saturday for a day of tree cutting and burning.  so, much. fun.  the weather was so nice +3.  i worked in my leggings and sweater.  it was so nice to be outside and enjoyable work. the girls played in the snow, we left at 3.5 hrs ONLY bec the girls were soaked and cold.  it was a super enjoyable day

 nate was sick all weekend.  he stayed in the shed.  ellie joined him at the end and tried to stay warm.  joey was left out in the cold. ha

chris stayed burning the bush until 7ish, he was sore the next day. but we are glad we were able to get out there.  what an awesome mild winter we've had this yr! 0 comments

play and more play

 sunday afternoon my friend and i took the older kids to a love production of the lion, witch and wardrobe.  it was the first time the older kids watched live theater.  it was a good performance, i was impressed with their adaptation. 

 monday was a surprise visit to hop, skip, jump.  i was able to get nate on the climbing wall for 5.00 for an hr, so i threw in a day pass for the girls as well and we spent 4.5 hrs there.  we have no plans for march break so i figure this can be a part of it.  i followed joey around for a while but mostly spend my time sitting, drinking coffee and talking to the other mom's.  so thankful for the great group of mom's that i can hang with

 so. the highlight of the day for all of us was this.  ellie was able to climb the walls as well!  some one didnt show up and amanda offered her the spot for free.  ellie was by far the youngest climber and she KICKED their butts!  she is so much like my sister.  she set the goal in my mind, to climb all the walls and touch the button at top.  and she did.  she refused to quit until she did it

baby gus!

 this was me mon night.  meet my baby gas, ill call him gus. hahaha i have never had bloating like this before. it was crazy and hurt so bad!  its almost gone now but man, nate was freaked out bec he thought i was going to have another baby! 

tuesday our group was invited to have a FREE day pass to try out the new inflatable place that isnt open yet.  so. much. fun.  nate stayed home with chris they are both sick. so i took the girls.  oh, my word. this place is AMAZING.  its huge, clean and SAFE. the best was the parents seating area, there was 2 floors.  but the best was again, having a great group of moms to talk to.  a few newbies came out and we were able to welcome them into the group as well.  they had a great time.  yea for mashe!

 then home for school lessons and supper but not before a work out from joey.  joey was in bed at 5:30.  she was tired!

 yesterday the girls painted a doll house and put it together.  i found them like this.  JOEY!!!

 i got a text around 10 from my sis asking if they could stop by and stay the night. i said YES!!!  they arrived around 7:45, and around 8 my sis and i were out the door for a coffee! SO fun!!!!!!  love that she drinks coffee and gets the whole coffee shop talk. and LOVE that i was able to sneak a visit in with her before her trip....they left this morning for a 2 WEEK cruise!  have a FANTASTIC time and bring back some sun! 

i told her that her cruise will suk because im not there. she agrees. hahaha

and with that im shoved back into my vortex of life.  so busy this week!!!   0 comments

valentines day!

 chris decided that this yr will mark the first of his annual taking the girls out on valentines day for a date.  the girls were so very excited.  daddy came home with a gift for them

 1 chocolate and 1 candy

 this was nates face the whole time.  i am thankful, so thankful for his attitude with his sisters.  he was 100% ok wit chris making a big deal out of the date and brought presents for the girls and not him.  he was happy watching.  this is a proud mom moment!

 we took a little walk the other day to make a wrong right.

 to mail back the .25 cents she stole from aunty. lol. 

 then we hit up the park.  it was +6.  in FEBRUARY!!!!!

 i cant believe how nice it was out, i sat in the sun and got my vita d and the girls showed me all the new tricks they can do this yr

 its neat to go back to the parks in the spring to see how far they came over the winter.  the slides that use to scare them are fun, flipping over bars that last yr she just hung onto. 

 sliding down the pole that use to scare her.  joey wanted to jump off. i told her no and to go sit down

fun joey story.  yesterday i asked her to go get dressed.  about 20 mins later i went to check on her.  i found her jumping and dancing on ellies bed singing "flying under wear" while flinging under ware around the room.  buck naked.  i take it she got distracted....lol

the other day i asked her to go get dressed.  she disappeared  then proceeded to have a huge hissy fit. screaming`g, yelling, crying.  lots of drama.  i chose to ignore her.  if she needs help she can ask, like a big girl.  i told nate to get his books and i did his science with him.  about 1/2 way through science joey quieted down.  when i went to check on her after nates lesson....so maybe 30 mins...i found her naked. in her bed. curled up under her blanket. 

i asked her what was the problem.  she said "i cant get dressed" and i guess got tired and went to bed. ha

last night was ellies date with chris.  around 5:00 joey went and brushed her teeth.  then disappeared .  i thought she was with nate, nate came down around 5:30 asking where joey was.  i said i thought she was iwth you...we went to find her. and there she was in her bed, lights off, curled up.  i said "joey! its not bed time!" she said "yes it is. im going to bed now" and she did. hahaha

she is such a funny little thing to have around.  we love her!
