open borders!

nate's frind showed up with this drawing! he did it himself! i was super impressed! the other 2 kids are goofing off....ha!

i jumped out of the shower to see this. i said girls what are you doing? they said "we are police girls" love it!

i picked this book up while getting groceries. it based off a true story and its AMAZING! its a GREAT read!

borders open from n.b to n.s july 3. this is what it looked like on july 3 at 2ish....

it took 2.5 hrs to get through the border PLUS the 2.5 drive! it was worth it all! i told quinn that as soon as the borders are open, im coming! and that i did!

we arrived to celebrate a late happy nana birthday! the cake was super yummy!

i found this cutie in my bed. like this. ha. i kept her!

sun chris left to go back to ork in moncton. i stayed in hali for the new covid "on line" vbs...and i took this guy out for lunch. so fun.. thanks quinn!

the kids did a church service. joey joined in!

then it was time for quinn's vbs, and for some reason my pics wont load, im sorry quinn....quinn did his own vbs on line, and it was great! the girls sang along

there was even a mascot....with a lamp haning from his pants????? so the inside scoop is this....the pants were too big and instead of finding a belt, this guy found a lamp....that would work as a belt.....

Party time!

this is the first time i let the girls have a friend party...mostly bec i knew it was in the summer (most ppl would be away) and covid! so a great, manageable number arrived. we did a "glorified" back yard play date...we swam, a lot!

had some decorations

inside and out!

thanks QUINN! and food!

then we did the pinata!

but the highlight, was chris's portable lumber mill....that i call "lucy"....after ALL those hours, time money, time, sweat, time, fights, time, coffee and TIME this lady was created. we booted her up at the party and let her FLY

and that she did!

lucy is a BEAST!

then we had cake, or rather with this many kids we had "make your own cupcakes" and again and hige thank you to quinn! he made all the cupcakes!

papa's like "no more kids!"

but the day is young...so many kids ha!

end zone

after the kids party, nana, papa, quinn and charlie stayed with us for a week. we had a lot of fun and for some reason i put down my phone and enjoyed family insead of taking pics...we went to the cabin, spent time together. and truly had a great time! thurs night c and i went for dinner...it was so great to be kid free!

i tried to blog the pics in chronological order but they didnt....so go with me....lots of pics NOT in order but many memories the same!
