i was cleaning out ellie's closet yesterday, not paying much attention to nate's chatter

i turn around and saw this

i asked nate what in the world was he doing to his sister?

he made her the queen and he's the king

i found nate last night like this

ok, this is HUGE.  nate ASKED me to do a craft with him!!!  it;s a first!  i said SURE!  then he grabbed the snow flakes and the while balls so we made tree ornaments. he did a great job and he crafted!  ha

snow day!  we have snow!  because both kids are sick, i've given nate the day off while i clean and finish the laundry.  althou nate spent the morning with chris working on science experiments.  gotta say having chris home today is a blessing, he kept nate busy and i got to check some things off the list of things to do!

i was out late on fri night and came home to this.... chris and nate working away on a robot with chris's new electronic kit.  good thing nate was in bed when i got home!!!  the company chris got the kit from is thames&kosmos, i ordered a catalogue for home education.  some of them look so fun!  i can't wait to get the catalogue and go through it!

well the house is now empty again, floors are clean, supper is cooked, guest laundry is done and a general clean up was had....school?  well, there is always tomorrow. some days it's challenging to home school with a baby!  today is one of them. the great thing is that we can catch up tomorrow!

first, nate brought snow in the house so he could play.  then he told me he was studying to be a "snowologist" which is a person who studies snow

we had a busy wkend,  a house full of ppl and i took all about 4 pics the whole wkend!

we had the church concert today. quinn came up to be in the concert. he was a shepperd boy with nate.  chris and i played mary and joseph, ellie was baby jesus in the live nativity.  ellie did AMAZING. not one tear, cry or screaming.  she skipped her nap and her snack and only did a bit of fusing towards the end.  i didn't take any pic's... but tryst me it was cool. i heart my church! 0 comments

hair!

14" braid that i am donating to canadian kids cancer which will make a wing for a beautiful little girl...hopes she doesn't mind grey highlights. haha

the hair cut was fun

NOT

sometimes it sucks to be a hair dresser and have to speak up, have a confrontation when the stylist really has no idea what she's doing and royally messes the cut up!  it's a good 4" shorter than what i wanted.  i wanted it long enough to put back.  i can't stand having hair in my face. guess what?  it's too short to go back, crooked and it not what i asked for....oh well....it's hair. i am thinking august i will have the length i wanted. ha! 6 comments
