update!

i spent most of yesterday in the l&d, the tests came back showing higher levels than monday.  i was hooked up to the monitor to watch baby and was laughing to discover those cramps i felt since mon night were indeed reg 5 mins a part contractions. ha.  my obg decided not to check for dilation in case it started something that we dont want

we want to be 38 wks before i have the baby.  its better for the baby to stay in as long as possible. even thou my u/s showed a very healthy girl, we want to keep 38 wks a goal.  i will be 38 wks on sat

my urine tests came back with higher protein than mon, and the blood tests showed my liver and kidneys in distress. remember, preeclampia is a condition that effects the mom, not the baby.  the baby is fine and healthy, its the mom who gets sick

i am going back on sat at 9 for more tests and monitoring.  if my levels have peeked, i will be admitted then and we will have the baby sat

if the levels are higher than wed but still okish, we will wait until monday to have the baby.  so no matter what our little blessing will be here on mon!

my parents and sister are arriving today. it just happened that my sister is already scheduled to work in moncton fri-tues, so mom and dad will be coming up with her, staying in her hotel (makes child care a lot easier on them that way) mom and dad will keep her kids while shes working, then on sat, we will know more in regards to us...

i also planned to have the kids party on sunday.  we are going to celebrate nate, ellie and quinn's birthdays together, making it a lot easier....but that may change too....haha

then on mon sometime chris and i will be having baby # 3!  wheeee.  mom and dad will be staying with my kids from mon-thurs or when ever i get out of the hospital, then i think they are taking a MUCH DESERVED VACATION with NO kids. knowing my parents will be here is a huge relief, esp bec i ellie loves them so much, i know she will be ok!

so there you go. baby update!
