it's all fun and games

cabin

chris and i spent his birthday night at the cabin. he did a few chores while i sat and enjoyed. it was super nice to get out there with out the kids!

i took the girls to the cabin last thurs. nate stayed at the house with chris. we stayed in the cabin most of the time

we decided to clear more trees around the cabin. a lot. of trees. so i kept the girls in and awaqy from the heavy machinery

then the rain set in. but the girls kept busy. esp joey. creating her art

sun morning rick joined us at the cabin for our sunday morning crepts! he arrived with another 3 pound bag of candy! and joey made a crept with it. yum!

its fun having rick around. the kids love him and he brings me chocolate and flowers. i mean, whats not to love?

we did a little science experiment. bird food. what will they eat? what is left? who knows! why? there are too many kids in the back yard so the birds wont come! ive decided to move my experiment to the cabin! haha

i feel like ive been typing for hours! prob bec ive been interrupted a dozen times!

with that i must go start supper!

its been sad. ive only had time to read these 2. top book is on my "best read" pile. bottom one was a good story but a hard to follow story!

easter!

easter arrived to our house, sadly we went able to be with blood family. i kept easter sunday super easy. the girls had this and nate had that

they were thrilled nonetheless, super sad to not be with family in hali. we went out to the cabin sunday afternoon and had a friend join us for easter dinner. us eigenheer's stayed the night at the cabin and came back to the house the next day

i was putting away laundry and found this. both girls organized a "candy" drawer in their dressers!

the play doh kept them busy!

the BEST time of the year!

ZOO CAMP! the girls are SOOOO thrilled to join their friends! so much fun!

they are studying primates this time around and joey had to bring her stuffy to show the class!

off they go into the big, bad world!

after zoo camp we went home to pick up nate and head to the cabin for the weekend. after the girls went to bed i was able to pick up my book and giggled at my book mark! haha!

joey ended up in my bed with me for the night. she took advantage of chris not being there. and i loved every minute!

we had friends join us on friday afternoon. the kids went to the river and explored while the adults caught up. nate came back like this! he went SWIMMING!
