the wedding

brad and jolisa got hitched yesterday, we used the church for the ceremony and reception. it was kinda complicated at parts and little frustrating to make it work but with some creative juices i think it turned out quite nicely. i had the men folk take the tables, chairs and blasted black curtains out wed night after the service. thurs all day was spent decorating and arranging. fri was the rehearsal and last min errands

table set up. with the lights on. it was very romanticy with low lights....trust me

ceremony with full on lights. it was ubber soft and flowly during the ceremony (minus the flowers in the mason jars which were not purchased yet, they were the pew markers)

ok. the gym is huge and in order to make it smaller and inviting i used the trees to mark off the ceremony, the black curtain (we only have enough for 1 side and the front) on the left was used to divide the room and create a reception area. when the light were off and the trees/pillars lighted (lit?) it was cosy and very weddingish

bride and groom. the only good pic o got of them... how cute are they??!!

the cake

due to the rain (which means good luck btw) the pics were taken inside so i got some down time to run out between the ceremony and reception

we went to tim's where we practiced our mean faces (don't ask)

me

chris (which also looks freakishly like nate)

then i enjoyed my java brew

oops. the pics are not in order

back to the ceremony we go!

all lit and ready to go

there was also candles everywhere, you just can't see them. very soft

now u can see those candles...ha...which were tea lights in water....floating bec as i am still quite impressed to have discovered that tea lights float!

the photographer! i mean the happy couple!

this photog was ummmm very visual....

see? seriously, i wanted to slap him

if it wasn't for him it was another guy who's camera was in my view the entire. time.

yep. again
ignore my minor irritation

j kissing her dad good bye. her dad was like the best. he totally reminded me of my dad and i told him so. he was great to work with!

back of her lovely dress

first glimpse of the bride

one and only pic of us

Well my Dearest Melanie I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO agree with Misty and you should seriously look at this for a part time profession.

Enough with the charity work, it's time you got rewarded for your brilliant ideas and HARD WORK for these events.

Awesome Mel and this is why your Papa is so pleased and Blessed to be your Daddy.
