i found myself becoming frustrated with the little space i had to peg things up. with out wanting to destroy my wall, i had to come up with an idea. the average cork board costs 10.00. i calculated that i would need/want at least 4. that would be a min of 40!
so instead, chris and i brainstormed and came up with this brilliant idea!
we took old floor mats that were full of holes and marks, put down new ones (i had bought 2 extra packs for this purpose) took the old mats and made them into cork boards!
i then rummaged through material that i had around the house and we had enough to cover them all!
so i got 5 new bulletin boards to hang things up!
i can't get over how much easier school was this morning. everything was hung up and ready to go. i asked nate to go and get his books out, in the order that he wanted to do them and we were done in 2 hrs. yeah! this system is working. and with kids, just when you think you have it figured out....they change. hahaha
for a more detailed account on making the boards, check out chris's blog...
off to find another project for chris
