fri/sat

first off how can anyone sleep like this????

nate does!

friday morning, i planned a secret surprise with my pal to take the kids to her camp to swim!

nate was beyond thrilled, cause he's a fish

ellie kicked her legs in excitement!

it was SO hot on fri.  we jumped in the pool before shan and the kids got here

it was so hot that even i went swimming!

ellie liked the water but clung to me

i have to say a HUGE THANK YOU to my parents for the eye surgery!

i went swimming with no fuss! no contacts! it was AWESOME!

ellie met ryland for the first time in person. haha

his mom and i were pregnant together last yr

ellie CRASHED in the car 3 mins after we left

she napped for another 2 hrs when we got home!

thanks shan for the invite, we had a blast!

sat morning nate entertained himself by settling up a grocery store

sigh

i took the kids out to our splash pad to cool off

ellie LOVED it!

it was 11:30 and she was begging for a nap so i put her down.  

chris went to a friend's 80th birthday party while i stayed with the kids

it was a kid free party

nate was blessed to go over to the neighbors for 2 hours to swim

we need a pool...haha

as soon as chris got home we jumped in the van and took off to teacher evelyn's retirement party

i told him he could run off and play in the woods with the kids after he ate

it took 3.5 seconds for him to eat

bawahhhh

that was out wkend so far!

is it me, or is it super busy summer????

i am going to try and lay low this week and chill.........lets see how that pans out......
