park day!

 i went out for coffee with my dear friend last night. i love that our coffee chats are 3-4 hours and i when i come home and chris says "what did you talk about" i usually say "nothing much" hahaha

so today we took the kids to the splash park down the street from us. i wanted a smaller park, less crowds and easy to watch joey...the kids played for 3.5 hrs while i chatted more with aralee

joey has asked for nate a dozen times a day.  she misses him. we all miss him, the house is not the same with out him

chris has been pulling some long days this week. mon, tues, thurs and fri he will be at the land.  he's pouring the concrete tonight for the storage/wood shed. i miss having  him around but i understand that if we put the time in now, we will enjoy later.  the plan is to start framing the shed next week and thats something i can come and help with.  i enjoy working beside chris when it's not physically hard work, but something i can pace myself with...like building the dek, siding, roofing that sort of thing....anyways! 

i cant believe how fast the days are going...aug is almost over.  crazy!  i am so NOT ready for school!
