santa!

tues night for family date night we took the kids to bass pro. the weather was not great so it was nice to be inside and warm.  the kids played in the kid area, so much to do.  chris and i sat and talked

we took the kids to see santa.  ive NEVER taken them. just wasnt a part of my christmas i guess. so this was nates FIRST time having his picture taken with santa. the pic turned out great, mine did not.  the girls were too scared but after talking ellie into it (remember information calms her) and joey just follows...the girls gave him a big hug!

 the kids were given these HUGE bags, like joey could fit inside of it.  the kids took them home and ellie turned them into "puppy beds"

 and drum roll........for the first time EVER. in 14 YRS. chris offered to help me wrap!  we were done under an hr and spent the evening watching a movie together.  it was a great night!  and for the first time ever he KNOWS what the kids are getting. haha

 today is our first official day off for Christmas vacation.  we are so far behind my "plan" im like what ever. lets just be done today. so i picked up chris and we took the kids to mcdees.  we split a big mac meal.  all 5 of us. hahaha  this is nates face when i told him we are done school!

we had the place to ourselves for a bit, then the lunch crowd came. chris and i were able to chat and enjoy the time together. and now we are on BREAK!  im so sleeping in tomorrow....ok. im so sleeping in later than i normally do tomorrow. ha

and with that, im off to finish up some house things before chris gets home. cause im OUTTA here tonight for some mommy time! wheeeeeee
