last week i finished up ellies school. we were both just DONE. had i covered everything i wanted? nope and guess what! that's ok! we will get it done next yr! the girls are too busy playing and enjoying the beautiful weather. nate is finishing up this week...which im SOOOOOOOOOO happy for, because im DONE with school for the yr! ha
last week, dont remember the day, ha. i was driving ellie's friend home from a play date and we saw a mulch fire. normally ive just seen them smolder, but this was on fire, the flames were a good 3' in the air! 2 fire trucks came to put it out and the girls LOVED the excitement of it all. haha
we ended up staying at alex's house past supper. alex lives on a hobby farm and i get along quite well with her mom. so the drop off turned into an hour and 1/2 chat time. haha we were both hungry so i took ellie out for supper. which is a treat for both of us!
fri we headed up to hali for 2 birthday parties. it was a BUSY weekend for sure!
sat after some garage sailing. cry and i met up with dad to start to decorate for mom's surprise birthday party!
it was a GREAT turn out!
mom turns 75 in july, but we thought we would throw a party a few weeks before to surprise her
the kids were SO excited running around waiting for her to arrive
