i was at chapters last week and finally caved and bought this book. ive been wanting it for awhile and decided to just buy it. i read it cover to cover in 1 day. its so inspiring. he talks about a chapter of his addiction but the remainder of the book he talks about training for ironmans then his experience on the AT. he walked it in 1 stretch from start to finish in his 60's!!!!!!
while the men slaved away on the "worst job EVER" my brother's roof. we slaved away with the kids (true story!) we took the kids to peggy's cove and had a chance to take pics. it was SO nice and SO nerve wreaking watching the kids on the rocks....yikes!
nate lost in his thoughts
he's too far away and too close to the edge!
so beautiful!
the kids!
again
so proud of this kid. this was his last day of his childhood!
the next day he turned 13!
nate is a typical 13 yr old boy. in every way. he's a goof, a tool, funny and im always telling him to put his clothes on!
bawahhhhh
seriously dude. put on your shirt!
and he did
my bestie!
pics of the cove
we spent our evenings like this....after ALL the kids went to bed. we would head to my sister's room, eat junk food and watch stupid shows until the men called us to complain about how AWFUL the roof job was...
riley!
joey slept like this. ha
sun around 4 i picked chris up. this is the finished roof. they hoped to finish both sides but no, they were lucky to get the 1 done
they will book a time to finish the other roof. the roof job from hell!
