time is FLYING by! i looked at the date today and im like "the middle of JANUARY already?" this is NUTS. my days are full but its good! a good kind of full! the above pic i snapped when i went to check on nate. how much love in the pic and its totally nate! a book, empty food plate, big jug empty and a nurf gun.
i started taking the kids to the riverview snow hill. its AMAZING! the first time we went it was just e and the girls, and it was COLD! so COLD! i froze my butt off! the hills are well groomed and are FAST. joey's sled is the fastest and she FLYS down the hill-laughing the whole time!
the bottom of the hill curves up to prevent flying into the woods. there are 3 big sliding hills with dbl walk paths coming up. and a huge snowboarding hill
ellie is my out door girl. she LOVES to be outside playing. joey is not so much. ellie only comes in when i call her or her fingers are frozen
the girls enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day with dad, the park is on the way to the cabin so the last 2 wks i stop on my way there and back
it was so cold that i went back to the car while the girls slid on the ramps that lead up to the hill
which was equally fun

at the cabin we discovered our back lot has a GREAT sliding hill. they are cutting the trees and made great tire tracks. PERFECT to slide on!

i picked up a stack of books at the good will, i was THRILLED to get this one. i saw it at the book store and want to read it so bad but it was 22.99 and im too cheap for that. ha so i was happy to get it for 1.50! i read it in 24 hrs. a great read!
i went to check on nate and found this. such a cute pic right! NOT! nate had joey doing his SCHOOL work! he literally called her in and asked her to color and finish his assignment for him! she didnt mind. haha i thought it was too funny
the girls ended school early one day last week, they came and found me and told me they could not finish school because ellie was a queen and joey was a princess and they dont do school. i let them stop for the day...its so cute to find them in my closet wearing my clothes and shoes

joey is never to old to snuggle. she was upset and wanted cuddles. i totally said yes!

we went to the cabin on thurs and fri got some school work done, the upstairs was so warm we did our lessons up there
and my friend and her kids joined us fri afternoon for a play date and mom coffee chat
we spent the wkend at the cabin chilling and exploring the woods. i didnt take my camera but we found an abandoned cabin in the woods, it was the neatest thing! ill go back in the spring and grab pics of it!
and we are off to start a new school week!

Tell the girls that there is still school for the Monarchy, they need how to behave at all times. No freebies after all.
I would like to try your slid hill ! We go every day to our Waldkafi with an adjusted snow raiser so it works for nana p. perfectly. Sooo fun! Ha Ha !! Thank you Melanie to let us have be part of your life.
