it's all fun and games: girl party~

about 2 wks ago we had our annual girl christmas party! i took the girls to the cabin for the night, just us girls! NO boys allowed! we had lunch, then the snow came. it was beautiful. we walked and looked at the animal tracks! joey thought the bench looked like a smiley face. i agree! `

then we headed in for an afternoon of crafts and painting...and that we did!

i was proud that ellie participated and did a great job. she is hesitant to try something she is not familiar with...and painting is one but she did great!

some of our paintings. we had supper together then watched "annie" with popcorn and pop. the girls went to bed and i watched a movie alone. it was a win! win situation!

i was up and coffeed before the men joined us. it was nice to sit and have some quiet time at my fav place

then we went out and found new tracks from the nightly fallen snow

we had 1 more week at the house to finish school, clean! and have christmas. i was soooo happy to finish school on schedule! we are actually on target for the school year!

ellie is my little animal/out door girl. she loves to play outside, no matter how cold. she enjoys walking with me so shes my walking buddy. most days we end up at the park for a bit ha

i had a task list of things i wanted to have done before christmas. my plan was to take 2 wks off for the holidays. 1 week at the house working and the 2nd resting at the cabin....i got everything done! one big task was cleaning the girls room. i asked them to pull out everything under ellie's bed! really!?!?!

i went to grab some groceries and found this poetry book. i bought it and fell in love with the author. she has 2 more books i want to buy. this is just a sample of what its like

ellie made me a sign and ran out of letters so she added the love ellie on a sticky note. ha

i had my door closed for some privacy because i was on the phone. i looked over and saw this. joey! shes always with me and if im in a room she sits outside of it until i come out. oya!
