Montreal!

ellie got her nails done by charlie! ha.  i drove charlie to hali to drop her off and pick up her brother.  i ended leaving my girls and the dog...they wanted more time together 

and created a presentation for me to "let the ellie stay in hali"

i left ellie but took joey back

i took joey and meeka to my dad's to watch them while i took nate and his friends to montreal.  i begged chris to go with me, because im scared to drive in montreal and ive never driven more than 4 hours straight plus i had 5 teens with me!  

he came!  BUT i did all the driving (minus 1 hour on the way there and 1 on the way back) thats 12 HOURS of straight driving THEN i drove IN montreal! 

i did it!  i am so proud of myself!  

driving in down town montreal!  i discovered that driving in montreal is easier than halifax! who knew! 

we stayed at this dive boutique hotel where i parked the van and we walked/used the metro while we were there.  the hotel was ummmmmm old.....the located was fantastic!  i enjoyed the vibe and pace of montreal but could not live there.  the kids went to go to a concert. but we did some site seeing and touring.  the only thing i would do different is stay at least another night.  but we all had a good time and the kids made some memories....check out their reviews on google. hahaha

chris stayed in the room, shocking i know, while i toured with the kids. we took the metro to old montreal, china town, the business district and the under ground.

beside our hotel was an out door concert. i spent an evening enjoying

the only thing quinn wanted to eat on the way home was chili.  we tried 3 (i think) different places and they were SOOLD out! finally the next day when i dropped quinn off and picked the girls and meeka up...we found chili for him! haha 

 it was a fun trip, id absolutely do it again! just stay longer!
