misty's baby shower was last night. it was super fun! i have waited so long to throw this gal a baby shower! yeah!! it's SO great to have had the honour to do it! my greatest desire was for her to have the best night and to get blessed beyond! GREAT things come to those to wait!ok. above pic. some of the signage i made up and hung around the room
invites! the circles were the first batch but i ran out on the first sunday so i quickly threw a batch together the square ones on the left
pink and blue cupcakes! make reg cup cakes then mix in your color
and pour them in. i did 1/2 and 1/2 then swirled it with a tooth pick
out they came. all perty and perfect!

in loo of the guestbook i did a wishing tree/blessing tree or in my case a tree of knowledge. guests filled out a message and hung it on the tree. guest books are so boring....ha!
pink and blue gum balls were the party favours. not knowing how many ppl would come i did a random guess and make up 80. there was 12 or so left...not a bad turn out eh?!

sign over the door way on the way in it's ps 92:4. the flowers were made out of tissue paper. they started out as poms but late one night i got tired of fluffing and puffing so i made up these instead. i think they are cute

k. seriously. the. best. dip. EVAH! seriously. trust me. AMAZING! it's chocolate chip cookie dough. i served it with baby crackers but really, eating it with a spoon works great! this dip is divine!
the food was amazing and so much! great job everyone! long shot of the food table as the food came in (much more was added)

hee hee. my parents and sis came up yesterday for a quick 3 day visit. nate did not know they were coming...you should have heard the scream of excitement that came out of his mouth. he was speechless, thrilled and over joyed! they took nate home shortly after and chris (god bless that man) stayed to help me clean up/tear down after the shower

i had so much fun planning this shower. seriously! i had to work so hard on not stressing over the details or fart around with what i was not happy with (*cough back drop cough*) i let it go and had fun!
this was not just another shower for me. this shower was the fulfillment of a promise made about 4 yrs ago. i told misty that i would throw her the baddest baby shower. i KNEW i would plan a shower for her. i KNEW god would grant her the desires of her heart. I KNEW it and i could not wait to do it!
it was a celebration of god's faithfulness. he is true to his word. misty was created to be a mom! i always told misty that she WILL stand and declair the goodness of god in this world!
