stinker! sticking his tongue out!
traced hand=trunk
finger prints=leaves
no shirt=make a mess (on my desk!)
into his master piece
loving this whole finger painting thing. he painted for about 15 mins and then he declared that he was "finished and wanted an apple"
so i told him to go down stairs and grab an apple and a knife. yes. i said knife. nate is allowed the knives in the top drawer. i taught him how to carry and handle them. i decided to show him the danger and teach him knife safety instead of saying no, don't tough them knives boy!
and this is the knife he brought me. a bread knife. yeah, that was fun. trying to cut an apple up with that huge thing!
banana, peanut butter, nutella
banana dbl peanut butter
banana, peanut butter and SWISS chocolate melted in the middle
need i say anything else?
YUM!
after nate ate 1/4 of his, he put it down and said "i want to go to bed now" it was 6. so i put him to bed...weird....

Aw! I love that Matthew is in these pictures... it seems there are A LOT of young boys in Moncton. I have yet to meet this little guy, but a little birdie (aka Pat lol) told Husband and I that he had a birthday while we were home last year and we were able to drop off a surprise gift for him, which was SO fun - despite them not being home when we dropped by - it was totally fun to drive around town trying to find an age appropriate gift for a kid we had not even met. Apparently Matthew LOVED it. and we got a chance to chat with Paul's Dad for a bit - I LOVE visiting so it was one of the highlights of our trip! baha
