my bud v is one tired out mama so i took her kids this am so she could sleep...but she ran (rolling my eyes) errands in stead. not that i blame her. errand running ALONE is divine! n-e-ways. we had a blast, we as in ariella, as nate calls her and sweet cheeks. nate spent most of his morning in his room...PLEASE tell me parenting gets easier! i adore nate but he is SO stubborn! i will. break. this! haha!
the kidlets watching barney. so cute! then i turned around to check on sweet cheeks and found this

nate gave her a toy. ha. she was not in the house longer than 10 mins before nate WOKE her up...why? to play with him...right after i asked him to leave her alone...i will break this not listening to me-ness!
after a LONG talk with chris, nate had his attitude adjusted and we spent the rest of the day running errands and such. i finally found an hour to make some decorations for the up coming ladies comedy night...nate actually SAT at the table and made some art. this is s HUGE feat for him. he "does not color"

cutting my scraps

gluing a picture or i should say "his castle" he kept himself busy for almost an HOUR while i fluffed and puffed my poms

what in the world do i want with 80 empty pill bottles? stay tuned.....;)
all in all, it's been a day!

I think that not listening thing is an age thing. After working and playing with me so nicely while Maya had a nap, Katie wanted to go outside. I told her to go potty before getting her dressed. Instead she went into their room, turned on the light and woke Maya up from a deep sleep (at least 1/2 - 1 hour before her normal wake up time) I was so not impressed!
Boundaries and Consistency - a couple of the most important and most difficult things in parenting. We'll get through it and hopefully remember to be thankful for what we have.
