boat stats and info for the eig's ;) haha
we cruised out of tampa which is about a 40 min dr from orlando. we chose a smaller ship with carnival called liberty. it was our first time cruising and kept our expectations low. after about 15 mins i decided that i LOVED it and i don't wish to do another resort or all inclusive. cruising is it for this lady!
the food was amazing. the 24 hr room service which was always at the door in less than 10 mins from hanging up was superb. the service was great, the kids program "camp carnival" which we were not sure if the boys wanted to go turned out to be the best part of the whole cruise. the boys LOVED camp carnival esp the teachers. we were given phones which we kept with us so we were always available. there was a daily program that was stuffed with fun so you could pick and choose what the kids did. we chose to pick the boys up for lunch and supper and took them to port when we left...but you can arrange to leave the kids on the boat when you leave for port and have them feed them lunch and supper...but again, we chose to have them with us for that. the boys LOVED it, they would no stop talk about it, "when can we go" is what we heard all day
so yeah. kids camp was a vacay saver for me!
sea sickness. i did not get any. nate and chris did. ha. nate's lasted for about 20 mins and he was fine but chris was sick for the first 3 days, so he spelt a lot. personally, i LOVED the moving boat. i slept so well, it rocked me to sleep!
rooms. chris and i got a middle room with no windows about 1 min from the rest. it was cheaper (thanks dad!) but cry/shawn/quinn and charlie had a HUGE balcony the joined mom and dad's so we went there a lot. which i liked...ha...
a bit of the view of the balcony. mom and dad's door was not opened at this time (it was opened the next moring) so this pic is just a pic of cry's balcony which extended to the left more as well. it was huge
checking the view one evening
