i am up another 2 pounds! that's 7 pounds in 2 weeks! me thinks the water retention has started a bit....haha
see the shirt i have on? my parents bought that for me when i was expecting ben. i never got to wear it, i remember packing it away to lend to a friend with the price tag still on. i put it on last week and thought "finally! i get to wear it!" (it was passed around for 3 yrs, so it got lots of usage!)
again, the belly is taking over nate. ha
i feel good. i can't wait for the baby to be born! i don't like retaining water, it hurts. the good thing is i will sweat and pee it out before i leave the hospital. ha, this makes the weight total over 40 pounds. how can one only gain 30-35? seriously???

but! his mom is a thrifty shopper and about 2 months ago i picked one up at a liquidation sale for 12 and have been secretly holding/hiding it for nate. i bought it to bring to the hospital to give to nate. i can't wait to see him response!
nate funny- i took him swimming at the y last week during a day of rain. it was pouring down rain wen we pulled in. nate said "mommy, if i was spider man, i would shoot my webs from the car to the door and you could swing with me and not get wet'

Hey Mel, our midwife gave us a great tip about older siblings (even the ones who are excited about the new baby). She suggested to have a gift for the older child from the baby. It worked wonderful for Katie and it make Maya an instant friend. Maybe Miss E knows about how much Nate wants a web shooter?

yeah i forgot to add that. i bought it to give to nate from his sister, i know he's gonna love that his sister knew he always wanted a web shooter. haha
nate asked me last week if he could bring flowers and a gift to his sister, out of the blue. i was like sure you can! just haven't gotten around to picking out what he wants to give her, should be interesting....maybe a spiderman mask? or stickers? haha
