it was a festive morning when we got to open our swiss christmas bags! i love this tradition and i look forward to it so much each year!

nate took about 1 second before he tore his bag open and dug out the chocolate. the great part about it was how i was able to wrap the swiss bag into the kings landing trip, on the trip it was explained how kids got an orange and an apple (if they were lucky!) and nuts/dried fruit was a yearly treat. so i was able to show nate hoe blessed we are to live in time where we each get a bag instead of a family sharing one. anyways, we studied history and culture thurs morning!
thanks for the bag nana and papa (who i know helped put them together.....by eating the chocolate...haha) we love you guys!
and now the christmas season starts!

muetti- i just bought 20 more blue christmas balls. there is always more room for color. haha. my tree is so very different from yours?! ha! i can't wait until next year, my tree will be so colorful!
mom-i totally understand. you guys are busy unpacking, setting up, dad's cancer treatments and babysitting! i do wish you guys got to spend more time with ellie to get to know her. she's such a doll. rest up and tell dad to SLOW down, he needs his rest for monday's treatment!!!!
