not back to school!

 the other morning i walked into the living room and i could hear this crinkle of plastic. but saw nothing. so i followed the noise and found this...JOEY! she found a chocolate and hid behind the couch to eat it alone!
little stinker. she was SO very pleased with herself about this...

 schools were back on tuesday.  we were NOT.  it was beautiful out.  i decided to skip the local not back to school picnic and head to the splash pad with my friend and her kids.  i wanted to catch up with her and our kids play really well together. the place was empty!  it was AWESOME. and so hot out!  nate was chill

 joey was just fun to watch

 so happy!  she is getting so big

 i want to be like her.  running free, with no cares, pig tales flying in the wind and a smile on her face

 just enjoying life.  she was enjoyable to watch

 ellie concurred the pole!

 and i sipped my home brewed java, chatted and enjoyed the amazing weather on this first not back to school day

i did spend 2 days sorta prepping school.  sorta=almost impossible to do with 3 kids in the room...sigh.  im aiming to start when chris goes back to work...but with joey around i dunno how it will work out...but i think im going to grow more spiritually....patience....kindness....self control...haha
