thurs i packed a back pack stuffed to the brim with food and headed out with 5 kids to hope well rocks. we skipped this field trip the last few yrs, but decided to do it this yr. there was hardly anyone their from the home school group. thurs is a busy day with home school activities so a lot off ppl couldnt come. but we did make new connections and i (we) had the best day!
we had the guided tour. the guide was amazing. but because joey was the youngest there by about 4 yrs (next to ellie) the trip was geared toward older kids. so i stayed in the back with my littles
the girls liked looking at the displays
lava!
then we went outside for the rocks
whatcha thinking nate?
the weather was perfect. it was so beautiful out!
thanks micah for holding joey because she would have jumped over and fell into the water!
tour along the rocks. at this point i sent the older kids off and stayed back with joe
it was such a beautiful day
off they go
but i stayed behind to watch joey have the time of her life
dirt! mud!rocks!sand! and WATER! this is joeys dream
nate came back to say hi
