river!

 sunday after church we took the kids (and mom and dad too) to the cabin and river.  mom and dad checked it out, then took off for dinner. alone=heaven. ha we kept the kids.  kids=quinn and  charlie (with our crew)

 and we spent 2.5 hrs!!

 swimming, jumping, eating. bonding

 and met a few more locals

 nate took a video. or two

 and to be honest, it was a great afternoon!

 chris then took the older kids on a 20 min walk, while i stayed back with joey. but when chris came back he took joey on her own "private" walk

and then it was time to go home, get cleaned up....and go to bed!

who am i kidding?
i put the girls to bed and chris stayed up watching Indiana jones with the older kids...WAY past their bedtime....while i enjoyed 2 hrs alone!

anyways. it was a GREAT long weekend.  family filled, fun and memory making. just the way i like it...

and with that, im done updating a peek into our week...im off to go hang out with my neighbor while its nice and we can!
