v-tine day!

math time. i hear you ellie. i hear you!  we had valentines at the cabin.  chris and i went for breakfast at the homestead and came back in the afternoon. so nice to have alone time now! we went smal this yr.

joey made her own valentines for all of us. a WEEK before the 14th!  she carried them with her for a WEEK.  and was so proud to give them to us

we found a sweet sliding hill 5 mins from the cabin!  we parent the lazy way. ha

they were at it for over an HOUR!

then the BEST valentine present was given to me!  chris took the kids home and i stayed at the cabin alone! i read! and watched shows....UNINTERRUPTED!!!!!!!!! this is the BEST gift of all! thanks babe! chris had a friend over to have pizza and movies with the kids.  but it was so nice to wake up to quiet.  i was home by 10, but still, it was so nice.  cant wait to do it again!
