it's all fun and games: this and that

nate Loves to go grocery shopping with me. its great company but my bill is HUGE. he loves to slip multi items in when im not looking... this is just some of his load. then i found out that chris pulls him aside and tells him what to add! haha

sitting down to watch a show. ellie likes to write songs. one day last week she sang for us. and of course heart heart was there and some of their stuffies. ha

in comes the star

so serious. it was a good song. she wrote another one last month and sang it to me, it was really catchy and i had her teach it to me, now im often singing it. ha

late night bedtime reads!

another sunday another coffee. she was running a bit late so i pulled out my latest curriculum catalogue and browsed for next yr...i already started my 2021/2022 school year book list! yikes!

now that zoom is the go to. im often pegged up 1-2 nights a week in my zoom for meetings. i have a meeting every monday night and last wed i had a charlotte mason zoom meeting. the top was really eye opening! one i never thought much about and one ive never really taught the kids....fairy tales! after this zoom meeting ive done some research and changed my mind. thats a whole other blog! but i will be including fairy tales for school!

the LONG awaited, much begged for day arrived. ellie got her ears pierced! im of the mind set to let the girls choose for themselves when they are ready. and after MANY conversations, videos and reviews i took her to clairs in the mall. it went swimmingly well, beyond my expectations! the manager did an outstanding job. she took her time, allowed ellie to have all the power...meaning nothing was done with out ellie's consent. joey declared that she was NEVER having her ears done. EVER. and picked up a shopping basket. everything she picked was on sale so i let her get it. joey, in joey fashion chose lip gloss, hand cream, perfume and an eye mask

then she came home to face time nana and papa. they took my ipad to their room where i heard so much giggling, i went to check on it and found this

ellie took my mirror and has slept with it every night. she is so proud to show off her earrings. im proud of how it all went. she faced her fears and came out calm and collected...with sparkly earrings!
