fri i took the kids to saint-anne-de-kent about a 45 min drive to visit the olivier soap factory. this was the funniest trip, was because today's trip was put into the 1st place spot by the kids (more on that later) my girls were the youngest by about 3 yrs for ellie/joey. i wasnt sure how they would do because the age level was for 10+ but i decided to go. so glad i did! they LOVED it
we help, smelled, and discovered the different kind of soaps and were give full size soaps to take home!
listening to the demo
we made soap!
ellie too, joey didnt it wasnt safe for her eagerness. ha
there was a play area in the back that i was able to take the girls to play while nate made the soap and a demo about the products was given
then because the kids were so well behaved, they took us into the back where they produce their products. so fun!
the kids each made a lip gloss
joey too!
mixing, melting, pouring and choosing color/scent and style
ellie chose red tint with sparkle, with watermelon scent
joey made dark pink with sparkle and vanilla scent
waiting for the cocoa/coconut oils to melt
