rain!!!

 last week, nate went off with my sis and her crew to the states and i was with the girls, the weather was AWFUL. cold and RAIN.  we had 3 days of rain, then a break then we headed into 4 days of rain on the long wkend!

to break it up, i took the girls to mcdees to play, my neighbour's kid had the week off day care, so he joined us every day!  the girls were literally climbing the walls! ha

i found this cutie in my bed, looking like me...haha.  im often found crashed with my book or ipad on my face. ha

 fri we went swimming with some home school friends. they turned the heater OFF, so the pool room was just right. not to hot or cold. we were able to coffee and catch up. its hard to keep everyone together during the summer, most of the group is gone or what not...anyways, it was nice to catch up with my friends and the kids burned off some energy!

 when did my baby turn into a little girl?  im blown away by how much this little one has come out of her shell and into her own.  she's NOT shy at all, and is becoming more and more independent each day

 after lunch, the sun came out for a bit.  i drove the kids to meet chris after work....joeu brought her tablet...see

 before the girls left i asked them to clean up, joey cleaned her desk.  love it!

 so sweet! she saved this card from last summer

 then after i dropped the girls off with chris. i WENT BACK HOME!!! ALONE!!!!!!!!!

chris took the girls to the cabin, nate was away and i stayed home ALONE. it was the BEST!  i watched movies, time pieces ALONE with NO interruptions. i ate supper on the couch. ALONE!  then i went to bed ALONE!  i slept till 9, and went garage saling. ALONE.  it was the BEST 24 hrs ive had in a longggggggggg time. 

i got these bad boys for 5.00!

then the rain started and i went back home. to clean and guess what???? the house was CLEAN and stayed that way for hours. ha

nate was dropped off around 5 and we left to meet up with the girls and chris at the cabin.

im telling you, that time by myself was so nice.  it was the best gift you can give me.  from now on, when its my birthday, anni or simply a friday.  i want the gift of time alone!!!
