pt 3. swiss day

 sun was swiss day!  we met up with ursi, jeff, katie and maya in a town called Monkton.  not to be confused with Moncton. haha  we had to take a pic at the sign

 i loved the table flowers!

 muetti, vati and a friend played the horns during the service

 we drank this special swiss drink. at 8 bucks a bottle! 

 there was singing, the swiss farmer band, a few speakers, and a parade with the kids.  see the girls?  too cute. nate took them to the parade

 off they go

 we ate swiss sausages and celebrated all things swiss

 then after the outdoor activities...rock throwing, axe tossing and the play ground for the kids, we escaped the heat and watched a swiss movie with English sub titles

after a full day we left around 4 to head back to the farm
