nate is constantly putting hats on and sporting them around the house. ok, the watch fad has been going on for a while. way back i once asked nate what time it was, he promptly looked at his empty, watch less wrist and proclaimed "9 o'clock". for kicks and giggles chris and i both ask him what time it is. every time nate checks his wrist and states "9 o'clock"! so last week chris drew with a PERMANENT marker (which i yelled and lectured him for) a watch on nate's wrist. over 2 baths it came off. so yesterday we bought him his own cars watch. the top flips up and you can read the time. but no worries, in nate's land, it's always "9 o'clock!" (he just flipped the lid on his watch shut and yelled "9 o'clock" as i snapped the pic)

Ok, the Eig genes are strong.
For the longest time Danae would say exactly the same "9 o'clock" when asked what time it was. Or when she wanted me to get up "Mommy, it's 9 o'clock, get up"... when it was like 6am.
that is so neat. i think it's funny to see how our kids to the same things, and they have never met. it must be the eig genes!
First, Nate is the most adorable looking in a hat! Soo cute.
Second, YUMMMMMMMMM! All that baking looks delish :)
