more mail!

nate was over joyed when daddy brought him some mail from nanny and poppy plumps (aka chris's parents)

which he stuck on his brand new, made especially for him! apron! to help me in the kitchen and an attempt to stay clean...

then he saw 2 kittens on the card and was more delighted

thank you nanny and poppy plumps!

then he insisted on helping me made some more muffins for crystal and her bebe

nathaniel loves him apron. he wears it to help me and puts it on his desk when he's not wearing it. it's the cutest man apron. thank you so much for making it for him nanny plumps!

for those who want to know why we call chris's parents nanny and poppy plumps....

before nate was born, i decided that i would not "label" both sets of grandparents with names for nate to call them. i know my parents preferred nanny and poppy so that kinda stuck. with chris's parents because of the swiss back ground and the harder to pronounce swiss names for grandparents (harder for a little one to say) i let nate choose his own name....

i believe it was on the 2nd visit, nate and vati were playing on the bed, vati would drop himself on the bed in front of nate, causing nate to giggle, laugh and enjoy himself. well, according to nate, when vati "fell" on the bed, it made a "plumping" sound....which caused nate to call him poppy plumps and it stuck

it's neat to see how nate expresses his connection with them, even thou they live far away. when ever nate draws, paints or colors a picture, cut paper or make a craft he will bring it to me and tell me which picture goes to nanny and poppy plumps and which ones go to my parents...most
of his creations are for nanny and poppy plumps. sorry mom and dad

at least 3 times a week he will come to me and say "make picture for nanny and poppy plumps, mail it to them please"

i love that he can express his love for them at such a small age

we were driving in the car this morning; i was singing. nate said "mommy, please stop singing. be quiet please" bawahhhh silly child
