it's all fun and games: PUPPY!!!!

the LONG awaited, wanted, wished for day arrived! we loaded up the van with the first load of wood for the dog and drove4 hrs to drop it off. bec of the heavy load we drove extra slow, the trip back was just under 3 hrs. the kids were loaded up with screens while c and i chatted

i just realized the girls have the same smile!

me! its been 18 YRS since ive had a dog! ive always wanted 4 kids and 3 large outside dogs! so me getting this puppy is HUGE!

ist load of wood, there are 2 more to go...in exchange for the dog...with the cost of wood we should call her the million dollar dog!

we spend just over 2 hrs visiting the farm, the owner was super great. he allowed us as much time as we wanted to pick the puppy out and gave us a tour of the farm

there were 2 girls to choose from. this one with the tri markings and a black and while one. i fell in love with this little lady! this is our puppy!

i think chris is ok with this whole dog situation. look how she cuddled into him

our girl! now she just needs a name. the plan is to go next week with another load of wood and ill spend more time with her, she will be more alert and playful so i can see a bit of her personality

this is the other girl. chris was leaning towards this one! but nope! i fell in love with little miss sad eyes

we toured the farm. these 4 puppys are 4 months old, about 60lbs. they are the next generation of breeding dogs

this is Moses. our puppy's dad. he is pure bernese and weights 180. his father was the original "dad" who was BIGGER!

hes a huge goof ball and we got to play with him

the dog beside him is his sister and will be approx the size of our dog fully grown

the breeder also has these beasts! wolf dogs!

and this is the puppys mom. as soon as she saw matthew she rolled over for some love. she is gentle and sweet! they are keeping both the mom and dad as pets when they retire them from breeding
