chris was asked to dig out our neighbors fruit trees in exchange for the trees. they want to plant shrubs along the property line... we rehomed them and are watering away, i hope they make it! they are huge! well, large in compared to our apple and peach trees!

our back yard is almost always full of kids. the trampoline is the best investment! there are so many kids bouncing on it. i had a friend over last week and she told me every time she opens the front door she can see hordes of kids on the trampoline! but a sad, sad event happened 2 wks ago...it BROKE! the kids have asked me at least once a day "when are getting another one?" at 1,400 a pop the answer is NEVER! chris finally found a lady sho is trying to mend it, even that is going to cost 400! so now the kids ask "when will the trampoline be fixed?" sigh
after supper i looked over. joey put herself in time out. haha
2 mondays ago was the LAST zoo camp for this year. the girls truly enjoyed it
then we went to see the critters and feed them

then it was time for this mom to go to the cabin. i took the kids tues-sun. i NEEDED time alone, well alone as in just my kids and our fridays play date. the girls play so well when they are there. they made ice rinks from all the bowls they could find and set up hockey rinks. they must have done this for 3 days in a row!
when i do our read out louds joey draws. this morning she was practicing her writing.

this one morning joey came running in my room with a handful of flowers!
she then got a vase and put them on my table. i didnt have the heart to tell her im allergic to them. i left them out for a day, then tossed them
joey is a little lady, she often asks me to do her hair. this one day she wanted a pony with a ribbon, like laura on little house on the prairie!
we had our LAST biology class last tues! the kids learned cpr and first aid. they practiced on their stuffies
poor heart heart!
i was working away and this thing came to me! i laughed so hard

and its LEGO around here. joey is the one who will sit for hours and build the most creative things with lego. ellie will often join her, but it's jo who loves to play
