it's all fun and games: tats!

i tagged along with rick when he got his tattoo. i want to have mine redone, so i went to have them look at it. anyways. the tat took just over an hr, and i think i kept rick entertained enough to not focus on the pain!

we stuck around the house this wkend, i had somethings to get done. so sunday i took my kids and some friends to the park. i brought my camp chair, sat in the corner of the park and read...sipped my coffee and enjoyed the wifi. this is the BEST way to spent time at the park. i love that the girls are loder now and i dont have to watch every move! i can taste the FREEDOM!

the kids inherited my allergies. and this spring its been ROUGH! its been about 4 wks for me, constant congestion, head aches etc...the kids have it too. ellie spent her school day like this

joey! so for the month of june, ive decided to "wing and enjoy" meaning, we will do school in my bed, reading and studying birds, something that both the girls enjoy and simply enjoy our time together. we got everything done i wanted to, so june is just a bonus for us. nate has 2 more weeks to finish. but im planning on having the girls do a few pages of school every morning so we dont have to start sept slow...

this is why i home educate! its so worth it!

last night was my FINAL session with cr! i finished! i get my pin and certificate in july. i cant wait! ive decided that ill do the 2nd yr in the fall and see where that goes. this program was life changing to me. im SO thankful for it!

now that the kids are getting older, i have more time to get back to what i like to do. one is baking! i made 2 loafs of cinnamon bread yesterday. after i took this pic our play date friends arrived, theres about 1 piece left!
