we have officially-unofficially moved our school room to the living and dining room. its working A LOT! better! the girls congregate around the table. i will admit, im working on my patience level with joey. little jo wants to be with us, and i get that. but im also trying to get ellie's school work done....sigh...but for the most part, i am able to get joey busy with her "school work" while i work with ellie.
when it gets to be too much, i take a break and try again....remember i am NOT a morning person....so for me taking on all the kids and school before 9 am is a lot. haha
nate takes his spot on the couch...i like this arrangement. im able to keep an eye on him while im teaching his sisters....for the most part nate works 90% on his own. which is nice but sad at the same time...but im proud of him!

she was cleaning and when i asked where her shirt went she told me it was too HOT! so she took it off, then added mitts for her hands, as she steamed cleaned my stairs (the steam cleaner was not plugged in...ha)
last fri night chris went to the cabin. i stayed home with the kids. we joined him around 4 ans the girls were THRILLED to open 2 more gifts

this is the most modest pic i could find to post. while chris was cutting up the wood, he made a pile of soft wood for the kids to play in. i had them strip down to the least. and they spent over an HOUR jumping in the "hay" it made GREAT fun and even MORE fun clean up. haha. chris and i tossed the girls in the tub and cleaned them up, then put them to bed
while supper was cooking, i pre made a stir fry. cough. and set it on the stove to warm up. i went outsdie to enjoy the SUN, it was +12....

after bath and putting the girls to bed. we made a fire for nate. even though it looks like the chair is on fire, its NOT! lol. there is a fire behind it. we had so much fun. around 8:15, i went in the cabin and made coffee for chris and i.
i brought the coffee out. and around 9. no word of a lie
i looked at chris and said "i dont feel well"

"chris i really dont fell well"
"chris, i think im going to get sick"
and BOOM. i got sick. it was the WORST bug ive ever had. i got cleaned up and went to bed then BOOM chris was sick. the 2 of us took turns in the bathroom.
around 5 we both started to think....humm....what is this????? then we figured that it had to do with the stir fry i made. only chris and i ate it. only chris and i were sick. the kids had hot dogs...i have NO idea what happened. but it was the worst sick ive been in YRS!
i left the cabin around 12:30 and went home. leaving the kids with chris. i spent all. and i mean. all day sunday throwing up or in the bathroom. it was awful...
i woke up monday feeling a bit better, but not much. i was able to cancel the afternoon play date and much to nate's HORROR (not!) i wasnt able to take him to his drama class...haha
tues morning i was feeling so much better. chris too! and off we went to another busy week!
