he also let the kids climb on certain parts of the rocks and explore....and be kids! they had SO much fun with rick, he was super helpful and open to all the questions the kids had

after the tour and rocks nate and i found a quiet spot to have our lunch, we chose to spend sometime together and talk. i think this was my favorite part of the day
then nate and i hit the woods to see what we could find, we found a lot of the plants and seeds we have been studying this week. score for educational. ha
then we hit back up the park and play ground to meet back up with the others, the kids played for a good 2 hrs while the moms talked and made new relationships
the drive to the rocks and back was beautiful. there is something wonderful good about being outside, it does refresh you!
i got home in time to make supper, feed the kids and head right back out the door with jo in tow to meet up with 2 friends for coffee and chatter. it was a fun filled day!
