cabin update!

 last sat i took the kids to the cabin to meet up with chris.  VOILA! the cupboards and counter top are DONE! i love how sparkly it is.  GREAT job chris!

AND the porch is tiled!!!!!

 chris is now working on the final!  project. the stairs.  he thinks it will take him at least 4 wkends to finish. each piece has to be individually cut and set. very time consuming...

 the girls got to open their present.  chris scored some stuffies on kijiji for cheap.  i wrapped them up and took them to the cabin.  every time the girls stay over night they get to open a stuffie. 

 sat night after supper. chris could not stop himself and placed the boards on the stairs. ha

 he wasnt going to work sat night, but well, its chris! ha

 i dont mind, its one step closer to be finished!

once the stairs are done, im going to go to the cabin ALONE to clean, the whole place needs to be wiped down from the dust and dirt.  once everything is clean we will bring in the couches and hang stuff up.  then we get to RELAX....chris will relax for about 1 wkend then he will hit up another project. ha

i stayed at the cabin sat night and left sunday afternoon to get groceries, run some errands and get home in time to read a BOOK!  i started the book sat night and finished it sun afternoon!  thanks dad and mom for the books, ive read one out of the 40 you got me. haha 1 comments

 sat night for supper the girls wrote our names on our plates and cups. sun  morning they did the dame thing.  our sunday breaky at the cabin is PANCAKES! that chris makes.  i dont normally eat breaky, but i love me some pancakes and eat with the fam!  SO yummy!

tasks!

 the last while ive felt overwhelmed with the amount of house work to get done, above the normal tasks.  so i wrote out a list of the extra jobs and decided to tackle 2-3 every week until they are done.
monday after school and lunch i told the kids i needed to work in the kitchen.  they ALL wanted to help me! i figured the job would take 2 hrs tops! but with the kids helping it turned out to be 3.5 hrs...bawahhh

i cleaned off all the tops of my cabinets and scrubbed the tea pots, them moved them around

the girls are back to story time, while they have their class nate and i talked and played some games
we played scrabble!  im NOT a board game fan at all!  but i enjoyed playing this game.  i think ill look to buy this for the house

the girls

 ok, i need to block ellie from my phone. hahaha

 the girls are super creative with their play.  joey sits and makes pictures while i school ellie. i love that!

 i found this and knew what it was but i asked the girls to tell me.  its a horse pulling a cart. they put it together themselves

 chris spent mon night in the shop, one thing he did was fix up and get all the kids bikes ready for the summer.  tues we went for a bike ride!

i cant get over how much they change from one yr to the next
ellie has out grown her bike :( and FLEW ahead of us

i cant wait to see how far the kids come this summer!

 my wed devotion lead me to this...he alone is my rock, my salvation, no one can touch me, i will trust in him at all times and share my share my heart with him....he's a good father

 wed we had gymnastics and the girls put a show on for me after!
