it's all fun and games: December 2019

christmas!

before nana and papa plumps arrived the girls spent some time working on their gifts

then we went down to set up the rooms for our guests. during so the girls asked to see my wedding dress, so i brought it out and showed them. they were so excited to see it

we didnt take it out of the bo because i had it sealed and preserved but they ohhhh and ahhhhh over it

so fun to have girls to do this with!

chris and nate were at the cabin. so after the house was ready for company, the girls wanted to go for a walk! so we did. it was SOOOO cold out! we even hung out in the back yard for a while!

i asked joey to go get dressed, about 15 mins later she was still gone so i went to peek at her, she was 1/2 dressed and spinning around...i guess she got distracted!

ellie has a pen pal! thanks quinn for your letter!

fri morning we hit up the pool. so, so fun! the kids played while us mom's talked, at the end there was rounds of hugs and well wishing for the holidays. this is our last event until the new yr

working on some spelling before everyone arrives!

they came! this yr we had nana and pap plumps and uncle marc for the holidays. it was a great time, we ate, drank coffee, played cards, read, visited, ate some more and had a wonderful FULL holiday

we arrived at the cabin with trucks and vans stuffed with stuff! we unpacked and chris and i took out franky where chris spent the net few hrs giving everyone rides. i think i had the most fun! esp when he we FLY over the hills and whip around sharp corners almost causing me to FALL out! but it was SO fun!

we started opening around 9, the kids did great with being quiet so us adults could sleep in!

christmas night

we sat down to feast on our racklette! so yummy! so much food. everyone enjoyed it. ha

joey tucked in all her stuffies on the couch.

boing day we all slept, read, ate and went to the river. chris drove franky all the way down! i walked.

the river was flowing at a good pace, the ice along the sides were so pretty! and there is nothing like crackling ice under your feet!

again

the girls got cold, so we went back to the cabin. the men stayed down at the river for another hr or so, they made a fire and had a great time. marc came back and told me it was the best part of the trip!
