it's all fun and games: yum!

for the first time ever. i let the kids smash and eat the gingerbread house the next day! the kids were all over at the house on sun, and were drooling over it begging to eat it. why not? and they did! ha

so fun!

unable to make it to the cabin until christmas, i decided to do a mid week visit last week. i packed the kids up on mon after pony class and went to the cabin. chris was working a bit late, so i did a HUGE thing. i faced my fear of making a fire. and i DID IT! i started the fire AND kept it going until chris came home. seriously, this was a HUGE deal to me. i did it! im not scared of the fire in the wood stove!

chris took n to cadets mon night and the girls and i had a "girl party" it was so much fun! just us gals! we painted and painted, ate, read books, watched a movie and i started another book
