mon night i had a meeting and i found this when i tucked her in. at first she made "i love dad" then went to bed and changed it to "mom" i won! hahahaha it was a great way to end a busy day
these poor pigs put up with so much from the girls. i let joey play with them while i did ellies school. i found them like this

i set a record last week, i was home for 4 out of 5 suppers and i made all of them from scratch! after i put supper on the table i looked over and saw this. how am i going to get into my seat? jump? haha
the girls like to help me, and i enjoy their help. just a warning that some of the veggies or what not are cut up in different sizes....but what ever! it all tastes the same!
we are wrapping our school up and im THRILLED to announce we finished our science! it took 4 months longer than planned....the girls enjoy sitting down and going over what they learned
i managed to take the girls to their favorite park, its 20 mins from my house, after spending about 15 mins FREEZING my butt off i went back to the van to sit and read! the girls are big enough for me to watch from afar! LOVE it!
i started this baby! im loving it! and bonus, its based on a true story!!!! i got about 60 pages read before my bladder kicked in and it was time to hit up tims for a bathroom and treats. we were at the park for over 2 HOURS! i cant wait to finish it this wkend...i hope
im still working on the pic, i only spent a few mins on it because i was too into the book...i hate it, so ill make some big changes this wend...if i get a chance

we have been doing a lot more family time, almost every night. i was getting bored of the sing along and story time so i threw out lets play a board game! after everyone got up from passing out hahaha we played. it was quite enjoyable. even chris had a good time!
nate read the 2 love languages for kids. then went on the assignment to find out each of our love languages and speak it. after finding out joey's is acts of service/quality time nate decided on his own! (so proud!) to spend time with joey one on one to make a craft with her. i found him a craft and he spent 20 mins with her making unicorns. i mean hello! can i be any prouder!
there are lots of pics of joey because she is ALWAYS with me. what ever room im in, shes there. often playing quietly by herself...this morning i was finishing up getting ready and i found her like this

and i am THRILLED to say we are DONE SCHOOL for 2020!!!!! i am VERY excited to say im actually on par with my goals! see cry! this is the YEAR, we WILL get school done....im excited to plan some new classes for the winter 2021...with the girls and with nate...im prepping for his high school and will start his transcripts in jan...i figure take jan-june to get a feel to the layout and the habit of marking and record keeping, something im NOT strong in...then be great for next year! HIGH SCHOOL!
its funny, most ppl are scared to take on high school but im actually feeling quite calm about it. the only thing that really scares me about it is the cost of the books! YIKES!
so happy christmas break to me! and the kids but really i mean ME! i am so sleeping in tomorrow! haha!
