it's all fun and games: pt 2

last week we started an evening tradition. every night we sit together and put on the christmas countdown, we read stories, watch crafts (then joey makes them on her own ha) and sing christmas songs together. i groaned at first but now i like it...its a fun family singing time. ha

so the boarders are closed. we cant go to hali. im NOT in the festive mood at all. my sis and i had a wkend away booked last wkend in pei that was cancelled, next wk we were suppose to go to hali for quinn's play but that is cancelled and our plans for christmas in hali are also cancelled. i am NOT happy. so we have gone back to facetime. i HATE this stupid covid crap!

i was having a poppy day on monday. mondays are SO busy for me...nate and i had a fight, i was running late for school, joey was emotional and i was just grumpy. this all before 11! i walked into joeys room and found this. i snapped the pic and took a few minutes alone to regroup and be thankful for what i have. joey was crying and sad, nate heard her and went to check on her and asked if she wanted a hug, she crawled onto his lap...i am glad i home school

whats better than a good friend who drops off 3 POT plants for you. hahahaha thanks for thinking of me!....ive NEVER tried it. but what ever, they are plants...ill keep them till i kill them. ha

mon afternoon was "body class" my friend who home schools is also a nurse full time. i know she's amazing and she runs the web site for our home school activities....anyways! is running a 6 wk class on the body. her co teacher isnt able to teach anymore so guess who's helping? haha...me! anyways monday was all about the lungs. she managed to get 2 pig's lungs and heart for us to look at
