dec already!

last wed chris took ellie out for her date. i took joey for a bike ride. joey says to me "i like it when ellie goes on a date with dad" i ased her "why?" and she says "because i get you to myself and i get another date" awe....my little joey bird! you make me smile!

i gave her a tree to decorate and put in her room.  she decorated it with make up, hair bows, necklaces and sparkly things...then she went to bed and kicked it over 2 times...and slept like this

thurs i took the kids to the cabin, we stopped for pizza on the way. i ran into the dollar store and when i came out the pizza was gone.  ellie says "here mom, i saved you some" and passes me a napkin covered, no toppings left...pizza end

i ate it. its a mom thing!

i could hear the river from base camp so i went to investigate....it was much bigger than our photo shoot time!  this is the spot we stood to have our picture taken! 

awhile back i found this adorable, old, german! art book!  i brought it to the cabin for the girls and i to try.  they really enjoyed it, we did 5 pages so far

it tells a story as you learn different painting techniques

fri was school in the loft.  we had coffee while we worked. ok hot chocolate for the girls coffee for me

then we moved on to stick art. joey was spelling the sticks because they smelt SO good!
