it's all fun and games: November 2021

propaganda much? im over this covid, the vax and all things that go with it!

i decided to start nate on black history BEFORE black history month. this is his read for the month. ill read it when he's done

saturday november afternoons call for coffee and crafts!

and silly meeky! she broke her collar so i went and bought her a new one. and picked up this chew toy for her.

on the evenings that chris and nate are gone. im making the habit to light candles and cozy in to read, last week after i put the girls to bed i came down to this. i couldnt clean it up. joey spent most of the afternoon playing with it and setting it up

i decided to leave the mess out and read in my room. ha!

girls are SOOOO much quieter than boys! the girls spent the afternoon drawing outside. i found them like this. ha

i read this! it's a local author. it's about her childhood. it was such a great story until the last 3 chapters...i dragged on a bit too much. but it's all ways a gem to find local books!

i picked up a paint by the number canvas for me and the girls. it took us 4 afternoons to complete it and of course i forgot to take a pic of it. but it was fun to watch the painting progress and time spent together is always a perk!

i took the girls to the cabin last week. i needed quiet. we took meeka for her run in the woods each morning. and the girls enjoyed sliding on the morning ice

one morning she found this old empty oil container. she carried it with her for the rest of the walk. she was so cute!

i snapped this pic and saw so much of myself in joey's face. the girls are growing too fast!

i found my make up table like this. the girls had a nice talking to from me....do NOT use my make up to play with! ha

im not so much into carrying my phone around with me, so my lack of pictures are evident. ill make a goal to take more pics and invest in this family album blog!

can meeka get any closer to me while i drive? her paw was in my cup holder!

and she parks herself in the middle when i drive. i will admit, i take her everywhere i can :)

my parents sent a package for halloween! i didnt have to buy any candy! thanks mom and dad!

this year for halloween we went to the cabin and i did "an evening of ice cream" we had ice cream for supper and ice cream bars for dessert! we stayed the night and made a craft. it was an over all good night!

last thursday was the big day! we poured concrete! ok, we didnt pour it ourselves, ha. we hired a crew but it was so neat to watch and take pics of the whole thing!

now that it's hunting season ive out fitted miss meeka and myself with bright colors! i think ill keep the vest on meeka from now on, its so much easier to see her in the woods!
