it's music time!

last night, my sweet baby eliana was in the greatest mood i've seen yet. she reclined in my arms after her bath playing with her toes and singing for 45 mins of utter happiness!  i put the kids to bed and about 30 mins later i could still hear her singing in her crib so i did what any mother would do. haha.  i went in and got her and brought her down stairs where she remained in my arms until her daddy got home (he was out at a meeting)  she stayed up with us until 9.  it was the best time.  she is such a baby doll.  i love her!

this morning, after she ate al her puffs. she's the puff princess.  ha.  such a joy!

i am SO grateful for last night, i needed it!  there is nothing that melts away life's concerns than holding a happy baby!  and i needed to get my ellie snuggles in!

why?

because i am OUTTA HERE FOR 3 DAYS WITH NO KIDSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

ha!

my sis/bestie are going to the states for 2 full days of shopping (2 days of driving haha) to pick up chris's order from harbour freight.  ha. chris placed an order and instead of paying the REDIC shipping, he had it shipped to our hotel in new hampshire for free, and my sis and i will pick it up for him.  this was my idea. haha

so i am going shopping for 2 sweet days with NO kids to care for, no floors to clean, no emails to return, texts to answer, questions to be answered, papers to mark, books to read, curric to go through, math to teach, writing to go over...no school, no laundry, no meals to make, no hubby to clean up after (haha) no lawn to mow, no trees to trim, to picking up toys, no party/baby shower/birthday parties to plan, no nothing!

i need a break and i am taking it. guilt free! wheeeeeeeeee!  i hope to come back  recharged and ready to finish the school year on a great note!

and to make it even sweeter i am taking a mental health day this morning and cancelled school!  nate is very thrilled about this. haha.  instead we are going to read some books, catch up for the book club and enjoy my last few hrs with him

i am leaving ALL tec devices at home, no laptop, phone, email or text and no camera!!  i am very stoked about this!

gonna get my shopping on! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

(i have NO idea how i am gonna get through 2 days of not seeing my BABY, sob sob sob sob....i miss her already!)
