my sis was in town sun night and we got to go out. ALONE! with NO kids! and eat a meal! it was AWESOME. we truly enjoyed the night. we had the best appy. it was goat cheese/vinaigrette something and it was so very good i think i ate more than my 1/2...oops! then we had bbq chicken pizza. with NO onions. haha. SO good
and we topped it off with this amazing cookies and cream crepe. again, i think i ate more than my 1/2....it was SO good
then we went back to her nice hotel room ,sat in front of the fire place and got caught up on life. its just nice to have a sister to share life with. i loved my night cry! lets do it again!
mon am i surprised the kids with a morning of swimming. cry gave me her hotel key so i could use her room to access the pool. the kids swam for 2 HOURS. they loved it and i was able to sit back and watch them. it was an enjoyable morning. then home to attempt school. ha

monday night my parents dropped by to stay the night on their way home from the funeral. i didnt tell the girls so they were super excited to see them drive up. we were able to catch up and spent time with them
trying to get 1 good pic of them. ha
mom and dad left tuesday afternoon. tues night was my night out with this fella. i took him to one of my fav coffee shops. he quite enjoyed it. the ppl sitting around us enjoyed nate's conversation with me
i love watching him grow into a young man. im proud of him. we had a really good time!
today we went to the library to pick up some of nate's audio books. the girls played the whole time. chris came to visit and i was able to visit with him. he will be at the land tonight so its great to touch base with him on these long days

school is getting into a soft routine. i am so very glad ive taken the laid back approach this yr. no stress. things will get done, we will find a routine, but the most important thing is this....ive not lost my patience yet! joey is with us the whole time, so ive given us all a longer time to settle into a routine and with having company/vacation and trips i havent had the chance to establish anything...
im surprised by how much more relaxed and how i am enjoying school time. things will get done. and for now im just enjoying having joey on my lap while trying to shoe ellie how to print. its quite the task...haha
and can you believe its wed already?!?!?!? thats NUTS!
