ellie finished up her school last week for the first part of the yr. i took sometime yesterday afternoon to plan and reevaluate her school for jan-april...i tossed what didnt work, cleaned up and wrote out a loose plan.
for grammar we sticking to evan-moore. i used it with nate and i find its great for grade 1 2 and even 3
math is math u see. we love it and she's doing quite well at it
phonics im going to use this work book with both girls. im trying to include joey to prep her for next yr and she's ready
this is the book ursi gave me, ellie can use the work book and joey can color the color pages
im also using this, its also GREAT for ellie to practice her penmanship
ive been using this with both girls and they enjoy it. its a simple intro to anatomy
science will be this reader, no work book, just reading
i also pulled down some games and educational toys for joey to use while im doing 1 on 1 with ellie
ellie still reads 2 books a day out loud from the basket
we are using all about spelling, mostly on the white board and the tile board. SO glad i bought this curric, i used it with nate and now ellie, totally worth the money
i bought this, my plan was to tear out the pages and copy, then bind. but the binding machines jumped from 50.00 to over 100! im hoping its just because its christmas and ppl are buying and they go down in price, other wise im stuck photo copying every page (i plan in using it the joey)
bible will be this bad boy, ill bring joey into it and nate as well
im also going to do a verse a week to get the kids memorizing more scripture , im thinking ill have ellie write the verse out to practice printing
we are also doing daily read out louds, me to ellie for book club. thats my loose plan for ellie's gr 1, 2nd semester! wheee!
i hope to get to nate's next week and joey soon after
