GARAGE SALE!

in case you missed it. ellie, with joey in toe, hosted a garage sale yesterday in my front room! ellie priced all her toys, with joey helping (that i PAID for haha)

all over the front room was items for sale!

with this little bug collecting the payment in a container!
i was like GIRL! i paid for all these toys and you want me to come buy them from you? she said yes!
i was like no. haha
then an hr or so later i was in the front room reading to joey when ellie came in and said " you cant read to her! the sale is still on!"

then ellie flipped over the "open" sign to the "closed" sign
she made open/closed signed for her garage sale
gotta give her props. very impressive!

the lastest book im reading. fitting much?

we spent the day (ok, me, i spent the day) doing laundry, packing, cleaning and planning so when chris came home i thought it was fitting to open the YUM box

it was from Indonesia, which i thought was fitting because i watched a docu on Indonesia last night ...

the snacks were SO good. this was my FAV box so far.
this funny noodles and eggs were SO good, all candy. ha

so cool!

the chips in the black bag were all of our fav! so good, it was like a pepper and salt chip, with out the chip after taste

seriously, every thing was this good!

then i found this....this is by far my most FAV treat, its mostly garlic, with some salt and corn. i took this pic, as joe stuck her hand in! so i can order it! SOOOO good!

and with that. i wanted to dump the last of my pics on the lap top before our net adventure!

heat wave!

i know the blog is SO long over due! ive been STUPID busy the last 2 weeks. which ill blog about now. haha but before the busy hit, we FINALLY got some heat! the kids and i spent most of it outdoors in the pool. it was so hot that I even went in the pool!!! cant wait to set up the bigger pool next yr...anyways, i ran into chapters to grab a drink and saw these cute mugs. i want them all. i literally live for my students. ha they are mine!

both are me! haha

we hit up a few new splash pads as well. this day it +30 with out the humidity. i LOVED it. i did sit in the shade thou, it was HOT!

after the splash pad, we went to mcdees for ice cream. i ordered at the kiosk, and they lost my order. after waiting for 20 mins i went to the counter where they gave me 3 HUGE cones. so big that the kids couldnt eat them. and i could NOT toss a cone, so i ate them all! ha

then we hit up giant tiger to spend the girls 10. i let them choose what ever they wanted. joey chose a dress but it wasnt in her size. so we went to the toy department and the girls found these

and they played with it for most of the day...

the next day, saturday ellie had a super cool drop off friend birthday party. they went to a clay cafe to paint pottery, then cake and gifts at their house. so i had 3 hrs to spend with joey. and we had a BLAST! she picked out her birthday pinata

she is getting so big! spending the afternoon with me helped heal her sad heart about not going to the party

sun we went to church. joey refused to go to her class, so she joined me and chris. she did AWESOME. you wouldnt have known she was even with us! she did how ever snap these pics. ha

hali part 1!

after church we came home, packed the van and headed to hali for the week. it was our rock church kids camp week. ive been taking the kids for a few yrs now. chris was quite bothered to have the house to himself for 7 days...hahaha

on the way up we saw this! i was driving so nate was taking the pics....a car that caught on fire. everyone got out safe! but the car was burnt to nothing

the kids were quite taken with this....

ellie and charlie had a sleep over almost every night we were there. i shared the bed with this cutie.

for kids camp, i would drop the kids off and pick them up at 11:30, take them back to the house for lunch and play and to wait for my sis to come home from work...then we would do an activity with the kids....i waited most afternoons like this...

tues was a BIG day in the house. it was quinn's own DVBS that he puts on yearly for the kids. he did an AMAZING job. he created the whole program from crafts to games, snacks to decorations, the church service to door prizes. this yr was quite impressive!

the theme was detective! the snack was top secret file folders
